Hands of Hope Mission Trip

District Sponsored Mission: Hands of Hope Ministries in Welch, West Virginia

The Roanoke District is sponsoring a district wide mission trip to the Hands of Hope Ministries in Welch, West Virginia. The scope of the trip will be minor construction and repair to Hands of Hope facilities and/or local housing. The work will depend upon the number of

 participants and skill levels. For those who do not wish to do construction, work will be available in the Hope Chest (thrift store) aiding clients and stocking shelves and racks. Also there will be work available in the pre-sort area unboxing and inspecting donated items as well as working with the local clientele. You are encouraged to view their website at www.hohm.org. The date is scheduled for August 19-23, 2012.
