ANDREW CHAPEL

  • 3936 Beaver Dam Rd. Buchanan.
    Get on 581 at Tanglewood. Stay on 581 until it intersects with I-81. (Stay to the right of 581 and take I-81 north). Stay on I-81 north past the Hollins exit and past the truck weigh station. Take the next exit (Troutville, Clifton Forge, Fincastle). Don’t take the 1st ramp toward 11. Cross the bridge and take the second ramp. Turn right where the ramp intersects with Rt 11. Turn right onto 220 at the next light. Take 220 nine miles to Fincastle. After passing the reduced speed signs, look for an Exxon Station on your right. Take the road to the right, which intersects 220 immediately before the Exxon Station. As you crest the hill on this road you are entering Fincastle on Church Street. Take Church Street to Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and go to Hancock Street. Turn left onto Hancock Street and go 7.6 miles to Rt. 635 (Beaver Dam Rd). Turn Right onto 635. Church is at the top of the hill.

    ASBURY

  • 500 Stuart St, Christiansburg.
    From I-81 South pass 3 Christiansburg exits, 118 C, B, and A. The last Christiansburg exit is 114 (Rt 8). Take that exit 114. Turn right and proceed to the second stoplight which will be Depot Street. Turn left and follow Depot Street to Stuart Street. Turn right. Church is three blocks up the hill on the left.

    BELVIEW

  • Belview United Methodist Church, 3619 Onyx Drive, Radford.
    From I-81 take Rts 11 and 460 towards Blacksburg, after Rt. 11 turns off; follow Rt. 460 By-Pass to Rt. 114. Turn left onto Rt. 114. Go approximately 5 miles, turn left on Rt. 800. Church sits to the left.

    BLACKSBURG

  • Blacksburg United Methodist Church, 111 Church St, Blacksburg.
    From I-81, take exit 118B at Christiansburg; follow Rt. 11 and 460 to the Rt 460 Bypass. Follow Bypass around Christiansburg to Blacksburg. Turn off the Bypass onto Rt. 460 Business (Main St.) Continue on Main St. to Roanoke St. Turn right onto Roanoke St. Go one block and turn right onto Church St. Church is on the corner of Church & Lee Streets on the left side.

    BONSACK

  • Bonsack United Methodist Church, 4493 Bonsack Road, Roanoke.
    From I-581 take 460 East (Orange Ave.). Follow 460 E approximately 4 miles to Bonsack Road; turn right onto Bonsack Road to the church on the right side of the road.

    BOONES MILL

  • Boones Mill United Methodist Church, Church Street, Boones Mill.
    Drive Approximately 15 miles from Roanoke on Rt 220 S to Boones Mill. Turn left at the second bridge. Stay on that same road as it winds up the hill to Church Hill Street to a church with steeple. From Rt 220 to the church it is approximately ¼ mile. BUCHANAN CHARGE ( Lithia, Trinity)
  • Lithia United Methodist Church, 21 DeLong Lane, Buchanan.
    From Roanoke, or Blacksburg area. Take I-81 North toward Lexington. Take exit 162 (one-six-two) on I-81 North toward Buchanan. Turn left onto US –11 South. Turn left onto Hardbarger Rd. Turn right onto Lithia Rd. Lithia UMC is a white building on your left, located across the railroad tracks.
  • Trinity United Methodist Church, 19637 Main St, Buchanan. From Roanoke, or Blacksburg area. Take I-81 North toward Lexington. Take exit 162 on I-81 North toward Buchanan. Turn right onto US-11 North. Trinity UMC is a red brick building on your left and is located at the corner of Washington St and Main St.

    CALVARY
    Calvary United Methodist Church, 849 Hemlock Road, Salem.
    Take Rt. 419 to Roanoke Blvd. Turn onto Roanoke Blvd. (which shortly changes names to Shenandoah Ave.) beside the G.E. Plant towards the Veterans Hospital (towards Roanoke). Go to Hemlock Road, turn left, church is on the left side about 2 tenths of a mile up Hemlock Road.

    CATAWBA CIRCUIT (Catawba, McDonald’s Mill, Shiloh)

  • Catawba United Methodist Church, 4962 Catawba Creek Rd, Catawba.
    Take Rt 419 until it intersects with Rt 311 approximately ½ mile past intersection with I-81. Turn right onto Rt 311 at Orange Market. Go approximately 10 miles over mountain to Catawba. Turn right on State Rt 779 at Catawba Mercantile Store and bear to the right. Go approximately 1/10th of a mile. Church visible on hill on left side of road.
  • McDonald’s Mill United Methodist Church, 3741 Catawba Rd, Blacksburg.
    Take Rt 419 until it intersects with Rt 311 approximately ½ mile past intersection with I-81. Turn right onto Rt 311 at Orange Market. Go over the mountain, continue past Catawba. Turn left onto State Rt 785. Stay on Rt. 785 to the church on the left side of the road, approximately 1.3 miles past Montgomery County line.
  • Shiloh United Methodist Church, 7509 Newport Rd, Catawba.
    Take Rt 419 until it intersects with Rt 311, approximately ½ mile past intersection with I-81. Turn right onto Rt 311 at Orange Market. Go over the mountain, continue past Catawba. Turn left on Rt 624. Stay on Rt 624 to the church, which is on the right side of the road.

    CAVE SPRING

  • Cave Spring United Methodist Church, 4505 Hazel Drive, Roanoke.
    West on highway 419 to Colonial Avenue, turn left onto Colonial to Vest Drive, turn right onto Vest Drive – this street runs into church drive.

    CENTRAL

  • Central United Methodist Church, 428 College Ave, Salem.
    Highway 419 (Electric Road) to West on Rt. 460 (Main St., Salem) to College Ave. – turn left on College Ave. and go approximately 1-1 ½ miles to 428 at corner of 3rd Street.

    CHRISTIANSBURG CHARGE (Calvary, Park)

  • Calvary United Methodist Church, 1600 South Franklin, Christiansburg.
    From I-81 take exit 118B. Follow Rt 11 into Christiansburg. Turn left at County Court House and traffic light onto Franklin St. Go on Franklin St approximately 1.5 miles. The church is on the left side of the road.
  • Park United Methodist Church, 306 Park Street, Christiansburg.
    From I-81, take exit 118B…Rts 11 & 460 into Christiansburg. Follow Rt 11 (Roanoke St). Turn right onto Lester St. Follow Lester Street until you come to Park Street. Turn right onto Park St, church is on the left.

    CROCKETT SPRINGS

  • Crockett Springs United Methodist Church, 2780 Crockett Springs Rd, Shawsville.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, follow Rts 460/11 from Salem to Shawsville. In Shawsville at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home, turn left onto Rt 637. Proceed approximately 6 miles. You will see the sign for Camp Alta Mons on your right. Turn into the entrance road to Camp Alta Mons and you will see Crockett Springs church on your left.

    EAGLE ROCK CHARGE (Bethel, Eagle Rock, Glen Wilton, Shiloh)

  • Bethel United Methodist Church, 344 Locust Bottom Rd, Eagle Rock.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 north to exit 150B. Proceed north on Rt 220 through Daleville and Fincastle, past the turn-off to Eagle Rock, to Gala. About 4 miles north of Gala there is a culvert bridge; immediately on the other side is a dirt road (Locust Bottom Rd) to the left. The church is about 4/10ths of a mile down Locust Bottom Rd.
  • Eagle Rock United Methodist Church, 14565 Church St, Eagle Rock.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 north to exit 150B. Proceed north on Rt 220 approximately 25 miles. The road begins as 4-lanes. Turn right across the bridge to Rt 43. Turn right at end of bridge on Rt 43 into Eagle Rock. Church is approximately 1/2 of a mile on the right.
  • Glen Wilton United Methodist Church, 131 Main St, Glen Wilton.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 north to Exit 150B. Proceed north on Rt 220 through Daleville and Fincastle, past the turnoff to Eagle Rock, through Gala. Several miles past Gala, turn left onto Rt 633 (Glen Wilton Rd). Follow several miles, and then turn right onto Bridge St Rt 622(across the bridge). About ½ mile beyond bridge across the railroad tracks turn right. Church is on the left. 50 miles from District Office to Glen Wilton Church.
  • Shiloh United Methodist Church, 519 Shiloh Drive, Eagle Rock.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 north to exit 150B. Proceed north on Rt 220 approximately 20 miles. This is 4-lane. You will see Sunset Market on the right less than 1 mile down the incline, turn right across the bridge to Narrow Passage Rd (Rt 43) into Eagle Rock. Go through Eagle Rock on Rt 43 towards Buchanan approximately 2 ½ to 3 miles. Turn right onto Shiloh Drive (dirt road) go approximately 1 mile. Church is on the left.

    EBENEZER

  • Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 85 Nace Road, Troutville.

    From I-81 South, take Exit 150B. Turn right and go to traffic light. Turn left onto Rt 11. Follow Rt 11 North for approximately 9 miles. Turn right onto Nace Rd at the sign that says “to Camp Bethel”. The church sits on the left side about 300 yards from Rt 11. From I-81 north, go north to exit 155. Make a right at bottom onto Brugh’s Mill Rd. Go straight. Turn right onto Rt 11. Go south on Rt 11 approximately 1/5 mile. Turn left at store onto Nace Rd.

    FAIRVIEW

  • Fairview United Methodist Church, 1310 Van Buren St., NW, Roanoke.
    From the SW Roanoke/Salem area, take Rt. 419 to Rt. 460 (E. Main St., Salem). Turn right onto E. Main St. (This street changes names to Melrose Ave upon entering the city of Roanoke). Follow past Roanoke-Salem Plaza to Van Buren Street. Turn left onto Van Buren St. Proceed to 1310 Van Buren St.
    Alternate way: From I-581 take either Hershberger or Peters Creek Rd. exits (south and/or west) to Melrose Ave., then proceed as above. From downtown Roanoke, take Orange Ave. to Melrose.

    FIELDSTONE
    3385 North Franklin Street, Christiansburg VA.

  • From Roanoke take 81 south until the 118 exit of Christiansburg. Stay right as you approach the 118 exit because all exits (A,B,C) need to stay to the right. You will take exit 118B, and proceed towards Christiansburg/Blacksburg on the 460 bypass. Continue on 460 bypass for approximately 4-6 miles until you come upon the Peppers Ferry Exit/Christiansburg business district. The exit will loop around and back over the bypass. Then proceed thru the first light at Arbor Street and continue to the second light at 460 business. Take a right at 460 business, and travel approximately ½ mile to 1 mile and the building is on the right side.

    FINCASTLE

  • Fincastle United Methodist Church, 136 S Main, Fincastle.

  • First United Methodist Church, 125 W. Main St, Salem.
    From District Office, take Rt 419 toward Salem; continue to intersection of Rt 419 and Apperson Dr (Rt 11). Turn left onto Apperson Dr and continue to Salem. Bear left after crossing RR bridge onto Colorado St. Continue to Main St. Turn left onto Main St. Go to intersection of Main St and Lewis Ave. (Langhorn Place). Turn right. Church is on the right. From Rt 460 (Melrose Ave) come into Salem on Main St.

    FLOYD PARISH (Copper Hill, Havens Chp., Huffville, Stonewall)

  • Copper Hill United Methodist Church, 125 Hummingbird Lane SE, Check.
    From the Roanoke area, take Rt 419 to Rt 221. Turn south on Rt 221 and proceed through Bent Mountain and Copper Hill to Rt 610. Turn left onto Rt 610. The church is immediately on the left of Rt 610.
  • Haven’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 3375 Daniels Run Rd, Check.
    From the Roanoke area, take Rt 419 to Rt 221. Turn south on Rt 221 and proceed through Bent Mountain & Copper Hill to Rt 610. Turn right onto Rt 610 and follow it to area called Simpsons. Then go approximately 3 ½ to 4 miles further on Rt 610. Church sits on right.
  • Huffville United Methodist Church, 1078 Huffville Rd NE, Pilot.
    From the Roanoke area, take Rt 419 to Rt 221. Turn south on Rt 221 and proceed through Bent Mountain and Copper Hill to Rt 610. Turn right onto Rt 610; follow to area called Simpsons. Then proceed approximately 7 miles past parsonage to Huffville Rd. Bear right and follow Huffville Rd approximately 1 ¼ miles.
  • Stonewall United Methodist Church, 4085 Floyd Hgwy N, Floyd.
    From the Roanoke area, take Rt 419 to Rt 221. Turn south on Rt 221 and proceed through Bent Mountain, Copper Hill and Check. Approximately 7 miles from Check, there is Holley’s Store. Approximately 1 mile past Holley’s is Stonewall on the right side of the road (Rt 221).

    GOODWIN MEMORIAL

  • Goodwin Memorial United Methodist Church, 5791 West River Rd, Salem.
    From Salem, take either I-81 south or Rts 11/460 south. From I-81 take Dixie Caverns exit. Turn right onto Rts 11/460 towards Christiansburg. If taking Rts 11/460 out of Salem, continue on these routes through Glenvar until you come to the Dixie Caverns exit off I-81. Proceed to the first left turn you take (St Rt 639). Turn left across Roanoke River and the Railroad tracks to Goodwin Memorial UMC on the left side of the road.

    GRACE
    Grace United Methodist Church, 4404 Williamson Road, NW, Roanoke.
    (Corner of Williamson Rd and Floraland Drive). From downtown Roanoke: Follow Williamson Road (Rt. 11) out toward Hollins. Grace sits on left side of Williamson Road one traffic light up from Hardee’s (right side) and Trinity Lutheran (left). Alternate routes: From I-581 take Hershberger Rd exit (3E), go east, through 3 traffic lights, to Williamson Road. At Williamson Rd traffic light, turn right, go to next traffic light. Grace will be immediately on your right (Floraland Drive, church parking lot). From the north: Take Rt. 11 south all the way. At Peters Creek Rd, Route 11 will be named Williamson Rd. Stay on Williamson through the light at Hershberger Rd. Grace will be on your right at the next traffic light, Williamson and Floraland.`

    GREENE MEMORIAL

  • Greene Memorial United Methodist Church, 402 Second St SW, Roanoke.
    Arrive in downtown Roanoke from any number of directions. From Jefferson St turn onto Church Ave and proceed two blocks to Second St. Church sits on corner of Church and Second St. From Franklin Rd, turn onto Second St and proceed two blocks to corner of Second and Church.

    HALL’S

  • Hall’s United Methodist Church, 4302 Northfork Rd, Elliston.
    From the Salem/Roanoke area take I-81 S to Exit 128. Leave I-81 at this exit onto Rt 603 (turning right onto Rt 603). Go approximately 3 miles to the church on the right side of Rt. 603. Alternate Route: Take Rts 11/460 out of Salem. 1-½ miles past Dixie Caverns cross the Montgomery County line and proceed to Rt 603. Turn right onto Rt 603 and continue to the church on the right.

    HEBRON-PIERCE CHAPEL

  • Hebron United Methodist, Rt 2, State Rt 606, New Castle
    From the Roanoke-Salem area, take I-81 north to the Cloverdale exit (Exit 150B). From this exit take Rt 220 N approximately10 miles to Fincastle. Turn left onto Rt 606. Continue on Rt 606 past intersection with Rt 630. Go approximately 9.3 miles to Hebron UMC on the right side of Rt 606. To get to the church, one must cross Caldwell’s Mountain. After descending the mountain, one will pass 2 houses on the right and the next building will be Hebron UMC on Craig’s Creek. Stay on Rt 606 all the way to Hebron Church. OR Rt 311 from Salem to New Castle: From New Castle: Rt 615 towards Oriskany. Turn right on Rt 606 towards Fincastle. Church is left 1 mile past Camp Easter sign.
  • Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church, 80 Timber Rd, Fincastle.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area follow Rt 419 or I-581 to I-81. Go north on I-81 to exit 150B (Cloverdale). Proceed north on Rt 220 through Fincastle to Rt 655. Turn left onto Rt 655, and then turn left onto Rt 668. Rt 655 is approximately 1 – 2 miles north of Fincastle. Go to end of blacktop (Rt 668) and go straight ahead on gravel road to the church.

    HUNTINGTON COURT

  • Huntington Court United Methodist Church, 3333 Williamson Rd, Roanoke.
    From I 581 take the Orange Ave Exit east. Immediately get in the left turn lane. Turn left onto Williamson Road. Follow Williamson Rd to intersection with Huntington Blvd. Church sits on the right at the corner of Williamson Rd and Huntington Blvd. Or one can take the Hershberger exit off I-581 towards airport. Follow to Williamson Rd …take a right onto Williamson Rd to Huntington Blvd.

    LAFAYETTE

  • Lafayette United Methodist Church, 5310 Walthall St, Elliston
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take Rts 11/460 towards Christiansburg. Or you could take I-81 S and exit on Dixie Caverns exit and proceed to Rt 11/460. Rt 11/460 crosses railroad tracks at the Montgomery County line. ¼ mile beyond county line, turn right onto Rt 626. Take street to the left of the steel bridge over the river. Take the first turn to the right. The church is one block on the right.

    LAWRENCE MEMORIAL

  • Lawrence Memorial United Methodist Church, 10140 Tinsley Ln, Bent Mountain.
    From the district office, follow Rt. 419 towards Salem. Turn south onto Rt. 221 (left). Follow Rt. 221 for approximately 11 and ½ miles. At this point one will pass the Bent Mountain Rescue Squad Building on the left, slowly pass the Post Office on the right, turn right onto Rt 711 (Tinsley Lane) and go approximately 1/4-1/2 mile to the church. It is right next to the Bent Mountain Elementary School.

    LOCUST GROVE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

  • Locust Grove United Methodist Church, 3415 Locust Grove Lane, Salem.
    From Interstate 81 exit at 137, proceed south on Wildwood Road to West Main Street. Turn right and follow Rts 11/460 West past Fort Lewis Elementary School (on right). Turn right on Locust Grove Lane and Locust Grove UMC will be on right approximately two blocks. From Route 419 turn west on Main Street (Salem) and proceed through City of Salem and follow Main Street West (11/460) to Locust Grove Lane and turn right.

    MT. ELBERT

  • Mt. Elbert United United Methodist Church, 386 Mt. Elbert Rd NW, Riner.
    Follow Rt 11 through Christiansburg. at the intersection with Rt 8, turn left onto Rt 8. Follow Rt 8 through Riner to the Floyd County Line. From the Floyd County Line go approximately 1-½ miles to Rt 750. Turn right onto Rt 750 and go approximately ½ mile. Turn right onto state Rt 738. Go approximately ½ mile more. Church is located on left side of road. Alternate direction is to take I-81 to exit 114, proceed on Rt 8 as above. From Roanoke via Rt 221 through Floyd to Rt 8.

    MOUNT OLIVET
    Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, Boones Mill.
    From the Roanoke area, take Rt 220 south to Boones Mill. Approximately 1/4 mile south of Boones Mill. The church sits on the left side of the road.

    MOUNT PLEASANT BOTETOURT

  • Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2357 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Fincastle.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, follow Rt 419 or I-581 to I-81. Go north on I-81 to exit 150B. Proceed north on Rt 220 through Fincastle to Rt 655 (Old Fincastle Road). Turn left onto Rt 655, then turn left onto Rt. 668 (Mt Pleasant Church Road); Go to end of blacktop (Rt 668), go straight ahead on gravel road to the church or turn right on 666 (White Church Road) then left on 668 at top of hill.

    MT. PLEASANT-ROANOKE

  • Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 3035 Mt. Pleasant Blvd, SE, Roanoke.
    From I-81/Airport: Take I-581 S to Exit 6 (VA-24/Elm Ave); Turn left onto Elm Ave (towards Vinton); Turn right onto 13th St SE at stop light; stay on 13th St SE which will become Bennington St until end; at stop sign, turn left onto VA-116/Mt Pleasant Blvd; after approximately ½ mile, Mt Pleasant Blvd. splits off VA-116. Turn left to remain on Mt Pleasant Blvd (first left after Rosewalk Lane); the church will be on the right and across the street from Mount Pleasant Elementary School. From US-220/VA-419: Take US-220/I-581 north to exit 6 (VA-24/Elm Ave); Turn right onto Elm Ave (towards Vinton); Go to step 3 “From I-81/Airport”and follow directions. From Vinton: Take VA-24 west towards Roanoke; after entering Roanoke City limits, turn left at the first stop light onto 13th St SE then go to step 4 “From I-81/Airport” and follow directions.

    MT. TABOR

  • Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, 1742 Walton Road, Christiansburg.
    Take I-81 South to Christiansburg. Pass 3 Christiansburg exits 118C, B, and A. The last Christiansburg exit is 114 and Rt 8. Take that Exit 114. Turn right and proceed to the second stoplight, which will be Depot Street. Turn left and go to the next stop light which will be Roanoke Road, Route 11. Turn left and travel 4.1 miles on Route 11 and turn right on Route 663, Walton Road. Mt. Tabor is .7 mile on left on top of hill.

    MOUNTAIN VIEW (Mays Memorial, Parrish Chapel)

  • Mays Memorial United Methodist Church, 1121 Odd Fellows Rd, Vinton.
    Follow Rt 24 out of Vinton (away from Roanoke) towards Stewartsville. Approximately 4 miles past the Blue Ridge Parkway, turn left onto Rt 619 at Stewartsville. Take the first street that turns to the left. The church is about ¾ of a block from Rt 619 on the right side of the street.
  • Parrish Chapel United Methodist Church, 10000 Stewardsville Rd, Vinton. Follow Rt 24 out of Vinton (away from Roanoke) towards Stewartsville. Go through the Stewartsville area, staying on Rt 24. Continue on to Chamblissburg, approximately 5 miles past Stewartsville. The church sits on the right side of Rt 24.

    NEW CASTLE (Bethel, New Castle)

  • Bethel United Methodist Church, 11599 Cumberland Gap Rd., New Castle.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take Rt 419 to Rt 311. Follow Rt 311 north for approximately 20 miles, to New Castle. Turn left (west) onto Rt 42. Go approximately 14 miles. The church is the second church on the right after leaving New Castle. You can also reach Rt 419 from I-81. From Blacksburg: take 460 toward Pembroke and turn right on 42. Follow 42 until you come to the church on the left. The only church on 42 with a large parking area across the road.
  • New Castle United Methodist Church, 364 Main Street, New Castle.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take Rt 419 to Rt 311. Follow Rt 311 north for approximately 20 miles to New Castle. Turn left (west) onto Rt 42. The church is the second building on the right. You can also reach 419 from I-81.

    NEWPORT-MT. OLIVET

  • Newport-Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Rt 311 Blue Grass Trail, Newport.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 south towards Bristol. Continue on I-81 to exit 118B. Upon leaving I-81, take Rts 460/11. About 2 miles on Rts 460/11, Rt 460 BYPASS turns off to the right. Follow Rt 460 BYPASS around Christiansburg to Blacksburg and around Blacksburg. Continue on Rt. 460 to Newport and Rt 42. Turn right onto Rt 42 in Newport. Go approximately ½ mile on Rt 42. The church is on the left side of Rt 42. On I-81 from exit 42 (I-581) to Exit 118B at Christiansburg …approximately 25 miles. From exit 118B to the church it is approximately 18 miles.

    NORTHVIEW

  • Northview United Methodist Church, 521 Ridgecrest Dr NW, Roanoke.
    There are many routes to take to get to Northview UMC. The most widely used route from the District Office is to take I-581 to the Peters Creek exit. Take the north Peters Creek Rd. Go approximately 2 miles to intersection of Peters Creek Rd with Williamson Rd (Rt 11). Turn left. Go 2 blocks to Plantation Rd and turn right onto Plantation Rd. Go approximately ½ mile to Ridgecrest Dr. Turn left onto Ridgecrest. Driveway to the church is the first right turn.

    PEMBROKE (First, Mt Lebanon)

  • First United Methodist Church, 5908 Virginia Ave, Pembroke
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 south to exit 118B. From exit 118B follow Rts 11/460 towards Christiansburg. Turn right onto Rt 460 Bypass; follow Bypass around Christiansburg to Blacksburg. Follow the Rt 460 Bypass around Blacksburg back to Rt 460. Follow Rt 460 through Newport and Hoges Chapel to Pembroke. After entering corporate limits of Pembroke, go past the elementary school and continue for about 3 blocks. The church sits on the left side of Rt. 460.
  • Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church, 162 Mt. Lebanon Rd, Pembroke. From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 south to Exit 118B. From exit 118B follow Rts 11/460 towards Christiansburg. Turn right onto Rt 460 Bypass; follow Bypass around Christiansburg to Blacksburg. Follow the Rt 460 Bypass around Blacksburg back to Rt 460. Follow Rt 460 to Hoges Chapel. There is a sign with Hoges Chapel on it. Go past sign and take next left. The church is located on Mt. Lebanon Rd and is a brick building with a tall steeple.

    PRICE’S FORK (Prices Fork, Trinity)

  • Price’s Fork United Methodist Church, 4236 Price’s Fork Rd, Blacksburg
    Take exit 118B off I-81 to Blacksburg on 460. (460 will join with N Franklin Rd). Go 9.4 miles and take the Price’s Fork exit. (It’s the 2nd exit). Go 3.5 miles and the Church will be on the right. (The elementary school is on the left.)
  • Trinity United Methodist Church, 2732 Ellett Road, Blacksburg Take exit 118B off I-81 to Blacksburg on 460. (460 will join with N Franklin Rd). Go 5.2 miles and turn right on Jenelle Road. Go 2.7 miles and turn right on Ellett Road across from N Fork Baptist Church. (Make sure you have crossed the railroad tracks). Go 125 yards and the Church is on the left.

    RALEIGH COURT

  • Raleigh Court United Methodist Church, 1706 Grandin Rd SW Roanoke.
    From the District Office, take Rt 419 past Tanglewood to Rt 220 (Franklin Rd) Follow Franklin Rd north (towards downtown). Turn left onto Brandon Ave. Follow Brandon to intersection with Grandin Rd. Turn right onto Grandin Rd to 1706 on the right.

    ROCKINGHAM COURT

  • 4615 Bryan Rd SE, Roanoke
    From the District Office, take Rt 419 to Rt 220. Turn south onto Rt 220. Follow Rt 220 to Rt 668. Turn left onto Rt 668 (Yellow Mt Road) follow to Rt 731 (Bryan Rd). Turn right onto 731. Church is on the right.

    ST MARK’S

  • St. Marks United Methodist Church, 19 Cedar Ridge Dr, Daleville.
    From I-81 take exit 150B north on Rt 220 towards Daleville. Turn right onto Wesley Dr at the traffic light. Church sits on the hill at the corner of Rt 220 and Wesley Dr. about ½ mile from Interstate.

    ST. PAUL – CHRISTIANSBURG

  • Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 220 West Main St, Christiansburg.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area, take I-81 south to the third Christiansburg exit – Exit 114. From exit 114 take Rt 8 into main section of town. Church is located on left side of West Main St after first traffic light.

    ST. PAUL – ROANOKE

  • St. Paul United Methodist Church, 502 Gilmer Ave NW, Roanoke.
    From the downtown area take Jefferson St to Salem Ave. Turn onto Salem Ave and proceed to 5th St. Turn right onto 5th St, cross railroad tracks and continue to Gilmer Ave. Church is on the corner of 5th and Gilmer. Alternate Route: I-581 to the Orange Ave – West Exit. Make a left on Gainsboro (the first traffic light after coming off the exit ramp). Follow Gainsboro to traffic light on Gilmer. Make a right onto Gilmer. Follow Gilmer to 5th St. or stay on Orange Ave through the light at Gainsboro to a left on 5th St. (just before the next traffic light).

    SOUTH ROANOKE

  • South Roanoke United Methodist Church, 2330 S Jefferson St, Roanoke.
    From the Downtown area follow Jefferson St south past Roanoke Memorial Hospital to the corner of Jefferson St and 24th St. From the district office, follow Rt 419 east to Franklin Rd. Follow Franklin Rd towards downtown. Very shortly past the K Mart on the left bear off to the right onto Avenham Ave. Follow Avenham Ave to 26th St and turn right. Follow 26th St to Jefferson St. Turn left and go to corner of 24th and Jefferson St.

    SOUTHVIEW

  • Southview United Methodist Church, 3539 Peters Crk Rd, NW Roanoke.
    From the District Office take Rt 419 to I-581. Follow I-581 north to Peters Creek Rd exit. Take the south exit off of I-581 onto Peters Creek Rd. The church is ¼ mile on the left of Peters Creek Rd.

    THRASHER MEMORIAL

  • Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church, 707 E Washington Ave, Vinton.
    Take I-581 to the Elm Ave. exit (downtown). Follow Rt 24 to Vinton. After crossing Tinker Creek (at the Roanoke/Vinton town limits) turn left at the first traffic light. This is on Pollard St. Go to the second traffic light and turn right onto Washington Ave. Go 4 blocks and the church is on the right side of Washington Ave. Alternate Route: From 460 East (Orange Ave) take Gus Nicks Blvd east. This becomes Washington Ave at the town limits. Thrasher Memorial Church is steepled church across from the War Memorial (Community Building).

    THREE OAKS FELLOWSHIP

  • Traveling east on Rt. 24 through Vinton, after passing the shopping center in which Kroger is located, you will come to a stop light at the corner of Rt. 24 and Clearview Drive. After going through the light, Rt. 24 immediately veers to the left and Rt. 634 (Hardy Road) veers to the right. Follow Rt. 634 (Hardy Road) approximately 4 miles on the RIGHT at the corner of Rt. 634 (Hardy Road) and Gravel Hill Road.

    TRINITY

  • Trinity United Methodist Church, 305 Mountain Ave, SW, Roanoke.
    From Rt 419 take Rt 220 N (I581) to the Business Franklin Rd exit. Take Franklin Rd. to Mountain Ave. Turn right onto Mountain Ave. to 3rd St. Church sits at corner of Mountain Ave and 3rd St.
    Alternate Routes: Take Franklin Rd at Tanglewood Mall (Rt 419) all the way to Mountain Ave. OR From I-581 take the Elm Ave Exit (in downtown). Follow Elm Ave to 3rd St. Turn left onto 3rd St. and go one block to church at corner of Mountain Ave and 3rd St. Parking lot available off 3rd St behind church with handicapped entrance available.

    WESLEY MEMORIAL

  • Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 350 Stafford Dr, Christiansburg.
    From W. Main Street Salem proceed to Rts 11& 460 and go west for 1.9 miles. Turn right on VA 112 Wildwood Rd and go NW for o.6 miles. Turn left on ramp and go SW for o.2 miles. Bear right on I-81 and go SW for 18 miles. Continue on ramp at sign reading “Exit 118-US-11/US-460 to Christiansburg/Blacksburg” and go SW for 0.4 miles. Turn right on US-11, Roanoke St SE, US-460 and go west for 0.9 miles. Turn right and go west for 200 feet. Bear right on US-460 and go NW for 3.4 miles. Turn left on VA-114, Peppers Ferry Blvd and go West for 0.7 miles. Turn right on State Hwy 700, Stafford Dr and go north for 0.2 miles to 350 Stafford Drive.

    WEST END

  • West End United Methodist Church, 1221 Campbell Ave, SW Roanoke.
    Going South on I-81, go left onto I-581 S. Take Elm Ave exit, then follow Elm & take right on 5th Street to left on Campbell to intersection at `13th St. From the District Office take Rt 419 to Franklin Rd. Proceed north on Franklin Rd to Brandon. Turn left on Brandon. Go to Grandin Rd .. turn right on Grandin and go to Memorial Ave. Turn right onto Memorial Ave proceed to intersection of Campbell and 13th St. Church sits on corner. Alternate way: Take I-581 to Elm Ave exit and follow above directions from Elm Ave to church.

    WHITE MEMORIAL

  • White Memorial United Methodist Church, 4073 Old Town Rd, Shawsville.
    From the Roanoke/Salem area take Rts 11/460 out of Salem towards Christianburg. (Or one may take I-81 S to Dixie Caverns exit onto Rt 11/460. Follow Rts 11/460 through Elliston across creek to Rt 753. Turn right onto Rt 753. Go into business area. Church is on the left.

    WINDSOR HILLS

  • Windsor Hills United Methodist Church, 3591 Windsor Road SW, Roanoke.
    From the District Office, take Rt 419 north (toward Salem) to SW Plaza and Oak Grove Shopping Centers. Turn right at the Traffic light (5th light from Starkey Rd (including light at Starkey Road) onto Grandin Rd Ext. At first fork (stop sign), bear left onto Grandin Rd. Next fork (1/4 mile) take left onto Mud Lick Rd. Go to Windsor Rd. Turn right onto Windsor Rd.

    WOODLAWN

  • Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 2922 Corbieshaw Road, Roanoke.
    From the District Office proceed north on Route 419. Go approximately 1.5 miles to Cave Spring Corners at the intersection of Route 221 with Route 419. Turn right onto Route 221 (Brambleton Avenue) and proceed on Brambleton Ave approximately 1.2 miles. There will be a Bank America at the corner of Brambleton Ave and Ashby St. (you will see a UM Church sign). Turn left onto Ashby Street and you are immediately facing Woodlawn UMC.
