District Staff

 

Steve was born in Richmond, Virginia where he graduated from Varina High School in 1972.  He received his BA in Psychology from Randolph-Macon College in 1976.  He received his Masters of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in 1980.  He returned to the seminary for a Doctor of Ministry degree which he completed in 1985.  He is an ordained Elder in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church.  He is married to Rebecca Tate and he has four children.  He served churches in Winchester, Richmond, Hampton, Falls Church and Lynchburg.  He was appointed to the Roanoke District as Superintendent in 2005.  He plays guitar for fun and likes Ford Mustangs - especially convertibles!  Reach him at shundley@roanokeumc.org.

 

Cindy, a graduate of James Madision University, and her husband, Tom, attend Cave Spring UMC where she has enjoyed teaching children's Sunday school for many years.   Her son and daughter are students at Virginia Tech.  You may reach her at cmartin@roanokeumc.org.
